Generation Mode

From JRapid

Jump to: navigation, search

When developers are trying out changes in their application model (e.g. prototyping screens), they may choose to avoid full generation process (which implies Java classes generation, compilation, and context refresh), so as to get a quick preview of the introduced changes.

Otherwise, they can generate all files (HTML + Java, the default behaviour).

Default settings

The default generation mode is full (HTML + Java) generation. This settings can be changed through the Preferences window.

Project Modes

  • If a front-end (HTML) generation is run, the project switchs to Dirty Mode.
  • If a full (HTML + Java) generation is run, the project switchs to Real Mode.
