JRapid will be selecting the best project developed entirely with our platform.

Contestants will compete with students from leading universities in computer engineering.

The winners of the first, second and third place will be rewarded with public recognition and the publication of their names and projects on our website. In addition they will be invited to write an article on our blog and be able to access these three seminars that are led by the company: "Training course for JRapid Intermediates", "JRapid Advanced" and "BPM using JRapid and Activiti." The first prize winner will also receive an iPad.

Terms and Conditions

  • Contest start date: August 1, 2011
  • Deadline: October 31, 2011
  • Closing Date: December 22, 2011 – Announcement winners
  • The entire project should be produced through the JRapid development platform.
  • Applicants must be students who are pursuing a college degree in Argentina. Students that did not attend the “Getting started with JRapid” seminar are not excluded but are encouraged to attend so that they are more familiar with the tools available to them.
  • The project must be submitted with the following information:
    • Name of contestant
    • Name of their University
    • Academic year
    • Certificate of enrollment
  • The project must be submitted with an attachment that explains the purpose of the project and how it works.
  • To subscribe to the contest you must send an e-mail to challenge@jrapid.com with all the personal information required and the name of your project when it is finished.
  • To develop your project you must register on the website www.jrapid.com and sign up as a new user. All fields must be filled in correctly. You must enter a valid email address.
  • By giving us the name of your project you give us the authorization to access it so we can evaluate it.
  • There’s no need to buy our service, but you can if you must.
  • Only one entry per email received will be accepted.
  • The company will give a maximum of one prize to the winner of first place. The second and third place will be recognized for their merit and will be invited to participate in the seminars given by the JRapid professionals for intermediate users and above, and the specialized course of BPM using JRapid and Activiti.
  • Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Winners and universities to which they belong will be contacted by e-mail before December 22, 2011, with the instructions on how they can claim their prize within 45 calendar days after the end of the contest.
  • All winners will be posted on the website of JRapid during the 45 days following the conclusion of the contest.
  • Employees and families of employees of JRapid, Intersoft and PRODA shall not be entitled to participate in the contest, or to be winners of a prize.
  • Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be awarded as cash.
  • If a winner cannot be contacted by e-mail for the December 22, 2011, or cannot accept the prize under these terms and conditions, then they will be disqualified and waive the prize. The next best project will be assigned as a winner.
  • Any personal information collected will be retained by JRapid in accordance with the Privacy Policy of JRapid and the applicable law. The contestants are allowed to re-use their projects as they have and will continue to own their copyright.
  • The participation in the contest constitutes your consent for JRapid to use the data and project for advertising and promotional purposes, unless the participant refuses.
  • By participating in this contest you agree to work under these terms and conditions.
